All States That Once Had Slavery Must Be Renamed

Since anything having to do with "slavery" is taboo it appears that we must rename all of the original thirteen colonies as well as any other state that once had slavery within it's borders. Just changing the names of a few military bases isn't going to cut the mustard. So far, the name changers and statue destroyers have picked on easy fruit, monuments to dead white folks. What are they waiting for? Let's get right to the main event and start demanding that the States themselves change their names.

Governor Northam, it's your turn to be a hero and have the Virginia state legislature lead the way. Netflix and Youtube can help by deleting any episodes of the television series "the Virginian" as a nice kick starter. The word "South" must be forbidden to be spoken by law. That place was full of slavery and any mention of the word itself probably causes considerable harm to the ancestors of those slaves. "Yankee" must also be stricken and that stadium must be renamed or torn down because "Yankees" won the Civil War and that is another painful reminder about slavery. In fact, blue and grey need to be stricken from the crayola box because everyone associates those colors with that war. One day, once everything has been removed or renamed, the word "slave" can be gotten rid of and there will be NOTHING upon which to look back at in history that could possibly trigger someone. It's time. Let's get started and get the ball rolling by calling your representatives at the local, state, and federal levels. We can do this and feel good about it now.

And States like Arkansas, North Carolina, and others who still fly symbols of the Confederacy within those flags must redesign their flags.

Some moron on one of the news sites that I comment on, wrote me that I'd never see a Confederate flag fly at a Democrat Convention, and then I told them that Arkansas, North Carolina and some other States have Confederate symbols in their flags, and that they are flown at Democrat Conventions. These douches are so easy to screw with.

They should start with the name “New York” which was named after the Duke of York, James II, who was the largest slave trader in history to the Americas.

There was slavery going on here long before the Europeans came. Lots of rivers and Indian place names are going to have to change.

There was slavery going on all around the globe for thousands of years. I seem to remember an account of a man leading his people out of bondage in Egypt to the Promised Land long, long ago. MLK referenced this event in his famous speech.

Guess we’ll have to erase Egypt from history.

some info from years past.

At the start of the Civil War, there were 34 states in the United States, 15 of which
were slave states. Of these, 11 slave states declared their secession from the United
States to form the Confederacy. The slave states that stayed in the Union were
Maryland, Missouri, Delaware, and Kentucky, and were referred to as the border
states. By the time the Emancipation Proclamation was made in 1863 Tennessee
was already in Union control. So the Proclamation applied only to the 10
remaining Confederate states. Abolition of slavery also became a condition of the
return of local rule in those states that had declared their secession. The Thirteenth
Amendment to the United States Constitution abolished slavery throughout the
United States on December 18, 1865, ending the distinction between slave and
free states.

We’ll have to change the name of Washington, D.C., too. Washington owned slaves.

We must also ban membership in the political party that promoted slavery, sided with the Confederacy, established Jim Crow Laws, and fought against full citizenship for Blacks. All members of that party must resign from office and be declared ineligible for office period.

In other words the Democrat Party must cease to exist.

"MLK referenced this event in his famous speech."

Since there was a term "Cotton is king", looks like a lot of recently renamed streets across this nation are going to have to be renamed once again.
