I don’t get that it’s the victim’s family, but Family Court. I’d have to see more info on that to know. But the Family Court likely has some ad litem or whatever they call it, a legal representative for the 14 year old “child” murderer.
Boy, do I feel stupid now. I went back to read the original post I had responded to.
It says that the city has asked the Family Court to make the sentence a minimum of 6 months and a maximum 9f 18 months.
Apparently, I was just skimming and got the dumb idea that the murdered woman’s family was involved in the request. Sorry.
