If you take away my bogeys and 3 putts, I’m clearly one of the greatest golfers of all time. Everyone knows this.

The amazing thing is that he will get some GM to agree.
He might yet grow into the role. The problem for him, and Cam Newton, and Sam Bradford, and others is they want to start and get starter's money, but every year three or four very talented prospects get drafted, half of whom turn out well, and one or two surprises from later rounds turn out to be NFL starting calibre at a fraction of the price.

Good for him. I mean it’s not true. But go ahead. One former athlete I saw, forget who, said that if you don’t believe you’re the best you don’t belong on the field, because you’ll just limit yourself, and therefore your team. Can’t grab stars you don’t reach for.

That will probably happen. Winston could throw 10 picks in a quarter, but all would be forgotten with one scramble for a first down.

Drew could have retired and left football at the top of his game.
But no...

He wants an announcing gig when he’s done playing.

"Cam Newton selfishly refusing to jump on that SB fumble will forever define him."
So does this:

Yes, I have not forgotten that.
He is a pig in the highest form. Wasted of talent too.
To: Rebelbase
For me stealing those laptops will forever define him.

“Yeah, Montana, Brady, Marino, Manning, Winston”
Is that an anecdotal off the top of the head list?
The reason I ask is that a few years ago I had rattled off a list of quarterbacks of all time greats and I was proven wrong by statistics that Favre is right up there at the top. I was kind of shocked, but by looking at the numbers Favre was in the top three at the time statistically speaking.

That is true.
I never heard, Montana, Brady, Elway, Manning, Marino, Young . . . ever openly say this though.
To: IgnorerOfLiberals
One could argue that any quarterback who plays in the NFL is one of the best to ever play the game of football. But if he’s saying he’s one of the best ever NFL quarterbacks then he’s a long way from reality.

I read about him on Wikipedia. He's now with the Saints. He played college ball with the Florida Seminoles, and as a red shirt freshman won the Heisman trophy. After his sophomore year he was drafted by the Buccaneers in 2015. His first professional pass was a pick 6. One year he set the record for the most pick 6s in a single season at 7.
That is what I learned of him. 8>)

I guess he is a record setting QB then.

Good point. Retiring now wouldn't reward him the say way it did for Jim Brown, with lots of cool roles in Hollywood movies.
Oh yeah, Jameis has some obvious self-awareness issues... "He's no Russell Wilson."
