*sigh* Breed a bigger mouse, build a better mousetrap. I did two years of home-based remote support (yeah, I was that guy remoting into your computer and gumming things up - LOL!), and most are adequate insofar as the purpose of virus protection, but most also have several different engines running in the background that eat up your resources. If the package says the minimum resources required is a 2.3 GHz quad core processor and 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, you can bet you're going to need an octo-core processor and at least 8 GB of RAM for it to run smoothly and eliminate latency. I gave up on the latest and greatest when I was put out to Old Technicians pasture after 20 years. Now I just use the native Windows Security, tweak my browser settings, and stay away from porn sites. LOL
