There appears to be the equivalent of a "How To Overthrow America" training manual (my description of this article) in the The Atlantic right now (excerpts below).
It assumes that rational people naturally consider Trump a dictator, cites with approval the strategy behind the overthrow of the Ukraine, and sees Esper's public repudiation of Trump's authority as signs of progress toward the overthrow of US, which he calls "the revolution" to topple a dictator.
While reading it - the Deep State's strategy glares from the text. It describes rather concisely why the Deep State is cutting vigorously at oaths of office which used to prevent the military and police from becoming indepedent political partys or backing the overthrow of those whom the public voted into office.
Everything I read in the article was the opposite of what I believe is actually going on in real life right now. For example, The Atlantic's writer quotes political scientist and conscientious objector Alan Sharp, "Obedience is at the heart of political power" in his attempt to frame Trump as authoritarian. Instead, I immediately think of the authoritarian left's Covid-19 lockdowns, requirements that everyone wear masks, contact tracing enforcement, monitoring and surveillance, etc.,...and the public's reluctant obedience.
State and local officials' fake rules/laws actively dimish human health and teach obedience, while those same "public servants" are encouraging and facilitating "peaceful" protesters (rioters) to violate lockdown by traveling to and remaining in protest locations. The same state and local officials threaten arrest of those who peacefully protest lockdowns because they might spread the virus.
The Deep State's MSM and Congress critters are everywhere insisting on social distancing for conservatives while making public calls to antifa "resistance protesters" to congregate in hundreds of thousands (1 million for D.C.).
"Obedience for conservatives and revolution for leftists!" could serve as the verbal propeller driving the coup.
I will place excerpts from the article below; note that those with motion sickness may find the obvious, repetitious upside down qualities of reasoning offered within it disturbing.
The Trump Regime Is Beginning to Topple
Article Excerpt:
“Obedience is at the heart of political power.” A dictator doesn’t maintain power on his own; he relies on individuals and institutions to carry out his orders. A successful democratic revolution prods these enablers to stop obeying. It makes them ashamed of their complicity and fearful of the social and economic costs of continued collaboration."
"Sharp posited that revolutionaries should focus first on the regime’s softest underbelly: the media, the business elites, and the police."
"By standing strong in the face of armed suppression, protesters can supply examples of courage that inspire functionaries to stop carrying out orders, or as Sharp put it, to “withhold cooperation.” Each instance of resistance provides the model for further resistance. As the isolation of the dictators grows—as the inner circles of power join the outer circle in withholding cooperation—the regime crumbles."

At least this explains the fetishization of black people.
The exact same could be said about the 'virus'.
“the Deep State” is a treasonous organization headed by (I believe) none other than Osama Obams and who still actively engaged in a coup.
Thanks for posting this Orwellian missive from the Atlantic to the world. I never would have read it otherwise.
It goes both ways, which is why the Politically Correct Establishment hits hard against those who indicate they will not obey.
On our side, we should encourage disobedience to Democrats, and Leftists in general. Undermine their authority at any point we can. Mock them.
When soccer moms who usually vote Democrat hear the ferals saying they’re coming for the suburbs next, they will be unlikely to vote for those who, at best, turn a blind eye to rioting, looting and anarchy and, at worst, encourage such behavior.
“The Trump Regime Is Beginning to Topple”
Well considering that from day one, Trump has barely had a chance to even begin a regime, it is not much of a statement.
What IS beginning to topple, is the power and control of the deep state.
Are The Atlantic writers still being paid?

Yay! Go Trump!
Just about everything he does is to give people more freedom and more opportunity and greater financial independence from the government. He is the opposite of a dictator.
I guess because he threatens to upend the elites from dominating the underclass, they feel their power being stripped away, and they think only a dictator could do that. They are simply incapable of understanding why someone would want everyone to be economically free.
It’s all about politics........
Do people want the United States of America or
the Divided States of America?
Looks like were coming to a point where people will need to choose.
Democrats: “A Divided States of America”
Republicans: “United States of America”
Yep.
Very comforting because The Atlantic is always wrong.
Been saying this all along.

Yep. After a bit of thought, I realized the only concept of a dictator that the leftists envision is, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Mao speaking in front of thousands with resounding applause. They see President Trump speak in front of thousands and compare that with their weak ineffectual leaders speaking before drawing room sized audiences to feeble responses. What are the ignorant fools to think? To them, of course President Trump is a dictator.
I said the same thing in another post. The Democrats want to make things so tough for America that they will vote Trump out just to appease the Democrats and get some peace. If the Democrats try to frame the issue that way — that all the civil unrest is Trump’s fault and will lead to more unrest — Trump has to counter quickly before it takes hold.
