Wow way to misread. South Africa codified racism, codified treating people like 2nd, 3rd and even 5th class citizens based on their legally defined racial designation. Anybody who didn’t think when that fell apart it was going to be ugly and involve a lot of violence and confiscation was stupid. Our should be to not get that ugly. So far so good. Which is why they won’t be storming farms.
Your belief that rational discourse with leftists is productive is both touching and quaint.
But wrong.
They don’t need a reason.
They want what they want when they want it.
They see fairness as weakness.
(I have lived in the NE, including at “elite” educational institutions, for all of my life. They would take all your stuff in a second if they got the chance, and accuse you of being a (fill in the blank) while doing it.)

I don't see us codifying racism against blacks anytime soon.
But there is other codified racism in this country such as affirmative action. And theres a very vocal but hopefully small group that want more of it.
