The wife of the Atlanta Braves’ Marcell Ozuna was busted on domestic battery charges for allegedly hitting the outfielder with a soap dish, according to a report.

Ozuna suffered a “small laceration” to his face in the scuffle with his wife, Genesis, Miami radio host Andy Slater tweeted on Friday.

The kind of male who doesn’t want to enable a violent woman to believe she can do what she wants and get away with it.

He’s correct in reporting her actions. Every bit as correct as if she were the one harmed.

Simply because she’s a female doesn’t allow her to get off any easier. That thinking is misguided and sexist.

I would not accept ‘boys will be boys,’ when it comes to violence.

I would not accept ‘girls will be girls,’ in that same situation.

Anything less than the same standard is a gross disservice to both sexes.
