We like to believe were living in unprecedented times, but we arent. The left is just rioting, looting, and burning like its 1968; and the Democrat Party is appeasing the rioters and going soft on crime like its 1968.
Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun, much less a gang of spoiled crybabies abusing a cause to justify their marauding, much less a Democrat Party believing they can harness that power to electoral victory, much less a corrupt media aiding and abetting it all.
No serious student of history will tell you were not watching a rerun.
And no serious student of history will tell you that, if past is prologue (and it always is), this will end well for Democrats.
Thats not to say President Trump will benefit. Hes president now, and voters might very well blame him for the unrest, might believe (mistakenly as Ill explain below) Joe Biden can usher in calmer times. As the polls show, Trumps refusal to project calm and steadiness is not helping his case. When Trump most needs to act presidential, he either cant or wont, but thats all beside the point. This is a long game were talking about here. Here are a couple of examples

None of that will matter if the democrats pull out all the stops on their election fraud game, which theyll likely do.
Now maybe half the population supports the rioters. Also, millions of illegal aliens will be voting for whoever is most corrupt/socialist.
“Make the Dems own this. There are a lot of people who are horrified and I’m pretty sure they outnumber the pro-BLM/Antifa loons. Eventually he should pick up votes from this. And, if I’m wrong and he doesn’t benefit, then it seems the country’s doomed anyway.”
I 100% agree with you. He should ride the “law and order” message to the end. Ride it hard. Chips fall where they may. But most Americans cannot stomach the message of anarchy and appeasement being shoved down their throats.
These days, a lot of people aren’t going to tell strangers and pollsters “Yeah, I’m a Trump supporter. You know where I live?”
I got a FB post today from a leftist relative - “Here are your FB friends who support Trump”, as in “Please unfriend them”. I was pleased to find many of them of unknown stance were also politically right.
“Now maybe half the population supports the rioters.”
Now maybe 10% of the population supports the looters and thugs.
Fixed it for you.
No issues at all.
Stopped at a Mom & Pop sporting goods store for a few more primers and a bit of powder.
He's still well stocked.
If it weren't for the news we wouldn't even know anything is happening.

Thanks, I nver get tired of seeing polls like this and the NYSLIMES 85% chance of victory exhortations.
I'm already there.
There is not going to be an presidential election this year. Trump is going to be removed from office by any means necessary. Soon.
I hope I am wrong.

Yep with today's 24 hr radio/telecasting there isn't much that happens
which don't get some coverage. It may just local but it can go to
national/world wide. We are long pasted the pony express era.
Thinking back to my youth we could three tv stations if you had a 30’
antenna. News at noon, evening and 10pm or so. Midnight or so the
screens went black until 6 or so in the morning.
Yes, and that poll was from Oct 23, 2016! Only 2 weeks from the election.
Absolutely. A guaranteed electoral smash hit! I hope they never stop talking about it.

Kudos to the person in the comment section of the Breitbart article giving the history lesson. A recommended read!
I live in Florida and got my request to vote by mail today.

I live rural in SW PA. No. issues at all..
If it weren't for the news we wouldn't even know anything is happening.
I live just north of Minneapolis. I am fed up with it. My wife's family lives in SW PA and they finally got high speed Internet available, so I'm seriously thinking of moving out there now (probably Somerset).
