The mayor of our little berg - a feckless sow - piously intoned that she would tolerate no vigilantism. Kinda tells you where her priorities are! Oh, and she made sure to board up city hall before disappearing from the scene.

Best of luck to you.

Police are hoping to contain the event to a parking lot area. Our mayor wants a peaceful protest and I’m all for that but if it goes bad we frankly don’t give a damn if he issues a statement on vigilantism or not. That’s not what we’re doing. We aren’t out in the streets looking for criminal behavior, we’re protecting our businesses as we would any other time if someone tried to break in and rob us or attempt to burn them down.

If someone walked in today and tried to rob my Dads business he would clear leather with his pistol and either escort them out or shoot them where they stand. He’s caught one or two homeless at gun point already sneaking around on his multi-story bldg. One about pissed himself when he threw down on him. He was walked out with a warning next time you won’t walk out. Another tripped an sensor and Dad took off with his Glock again and this guy ran out the back door but we got him on camera and cops ID him, he got tresspassed and warned the owner was about to shoot your ass off.

We pray for peace but are preparing for the worst and I suspect most other business owners are as well. Hillbillies are not into racist BS for the most part. We are made fun of and mocked by society as well. But we hate a theif and won’t tolerate being bullied with force.
