Without fail, they show up on June 1st, like clockwork.
Three days later, none.
Anywhere.

I saw at least 20 in the last couple of nights - but the warmth didn’t arrive until June, and the spring was cool, wet, and uninterrupted by the normal day-or-two heat waves this year. I am in NE Kansas.
