She also plays the main antagonist on the Handmaid’s Tale. Her character is the left’s version of what they think a conservative woman is (nasty, bitter, mean and jealous of the main character). That character makes her Dexter character look nice.

I was working with a major customer in Santa Monica.
A friend/co-worker dragged me to a animal charity event. Yvonne was there and spoke.
1. Yvonne was stunningly beautiful and tall - even more that tv shows and movies
2. Her Dad was there (at the back) and started talking to me. He was a plumber (?) in Australia - but was knowledgeable and interesting, including worrying about the Chinese money flowing into Aus and driving up hosing prices for regular families
So even though she probably hear smart things from her parents, a few years in Hollywood and she turned into a ditz. Or maybe it was just her PR team - to make her sound cool
