Two unique features of SARS-CoV-2 are convincing a growing number of scientists that it was man-made, and not the result of natural evolution, according to the Daily Telegraph.
First, the virus binds more strongly to human ACE2 enzymes than any other species, including bats.
Second, SARS-CoV-2 has a “furin cleavage site” missing in its closes bat-coronavirus relative, RaTG-13, which makes it significantly more infectious - a finding we reported in late February.
According to Israeli geneticist, Dr. Ronen Shemesh, the Furin site is the most unusual finding.
“I believe that the most important issue about the differences between ALL coronavirus types is the insertion of a Furin protease cleavage site at the Spike protein of SARS-CoV-2,” he said. “Such an insertion is very rare in evolution, the addition of such 4 Amino acids alone in the course of only 20 years is very unlikely.”
Shamesh, who is working on a treatment for COVID-19, believes the novel coronavirus was most likely created in a lab, and did not evolve in nature.
“There are many reasons to believe that the COVID-19 generating SARS-CoV-2 was generated in a lab. Most probably by methods of genetic engineering,” he said, adding “I believe that this is the only way an insertion like the FURIN protease cleavage site could have been introduced directly at the right place and become effective.”

That Wuhan Institute of Virology is currently the obvious main suspect in leaking SARS-CoV-2 that has killed 106,000+ Americans and, thanks to Dr. Fauci's advice again, has destroyed the US economy, likely irreparably for scores of millions of Americans.

ACE2 = angiotensin converting enzyme 2; it occurs in mammals generally but it's presence in the cell wall structure makes it especially vulnerable to the coronavirus for humans, more than other mammals. This immediately alerted investigators to the possibility of an engineered pathogen.
The insertion of a Furin protease cleavage site on the viral structure is a compelling addition to the suspicion of human tampering. All of this evidence is circumstantial; it is possible for such mutations to occur naturally - but the odds against are very high.
I am beginning to think Prez Trump knows what happened, is considering and measuring his response. We are toying with an act of war here. The US and China had just penned a new trade agreement, Phase One. China was going to have to adjust to a reduced ability to plunder our blossoming economy and steal our intellectual property. If Joe Biden could become POTUS they had plenty of leverage over him - he is greedy to a fault and they gave his son access to about $1.5 bil.
Suddenly the viral epidemic appears and DJT takes the alarming action of suspending all air travel from China... not just Wuhan, China. Within weeks China miraculously controls the virus; maybe now air travel will open up. As far as I have heard it is still suspended. China denies international study of the epidemic and the virus and uses its puppet - WHO - to spread misinformation about everything connected with the affair.
Consistently the 'Rat Party criticizes Trump, even when it is on both sides of an issue. Consistently they seem to be more on China's side. Medical professionals counsel massive quaratine; opposing epidemiological views are suppressed, the economy is shut down and three years of miraculous economic explosion is nullified in a few weeks. Oh, by the way, there is an election in a few months.
There are times when I would like to believe in coincidences but they rarely hold up. This is just too perfect! AND, now that we have a cause for massive rioting cum insurrection: why lookie lookie - the virus doesn't matter anymore. Maybe we can lure POTUS in to a heavy handed response (Dem governors and mayors doing nothing) and help the Dark Side gain control of the country.
