Re CA Helicopter Crash:
olano County, CALIF. A helicopter crashed in Fairfield, California on Tuesday.
The Bell 206 aircraft went down around 1:30 p.m. near Lyon Road and Soda Springs Road. The chopper was contracted by Pacific Gas and Electric and reportedly struck a power line.
According to the FAA, three people were on-board. Officials say the helicopter caught fire before crashing.
It was unclear if there were any survivors. 38,000 people lost power following the apparent accident.

Cognitive incongruence.
Powerlines are the great harvester of helicopters. Doing that powerline maintenance is challenging flying (and outside the chance of getting killed, boring) and obviously dangerous.
