Postings, like the News is all about what the “hot current topic” is at the moment.

It is for this same reason that all the media cares about is the current level of virus deaths and not the future deaths and severe suffering that the economic lockdown will create in future months - which is what we really should be focused on.

The big spike in the middle of the graph is when they tested the prisons.

I noticed early last week that the numbers of comments in the CV-19 threads were fewer and fewer. I also noticed that the headlines on the local area news sites had fewer and fewer reports about CV-19.

It became ‘old news’ so it was time to move on to other things. Luckily, the media has not shortage of events/issues they they inflame into headlines. When all else is quiet, they can always depend on a new Trump Tweet or a commissioned poll.

Thank God the ChiCom flu postings are over. I’ll participate again in several weeks when all of these rioters start falling dead because of the flu.
