They are. The Marine Corps Band (The President’s Own) are the best of the best. If you ever get a chance to hear them in concert, do it. You won’t be disappointed. And they are also “real” Marines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Band
I was at the Marine Barracks for the swearing in of a Commandant a few years back and the Commandant has his own band.
They are terrific also.
Made me cry.
Of course if made me cry when the Marine escorts escorted us to the Commandants House.
