Author of the seminal book The Road to Serfdom, Hayek was the first major thought leader who denounced the socialist takeover of Western academia, particularly economics, as was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President George H.W. I need a hint, where does it read

Not sure where you got that from. In any case, you can find hints in ascending order of revelation in the first comment below the puzzle. Just highlight the yellow letters to expose the hints. Hint Words are located anywhere in the puzzle, while the First 3 words are, well, the first three words of the puzzle. This should give you enough hints to get a full jump on solving the puzzle.
