I am so disappointed! 184 posts and the visuals are so lame. I clicked on this thread to see the visuals, a zot flash, taunting gifs, and jpeg funnies! Whadda disappointin’ ... things no longer get hugh and series with these lame opusi. Where’s Laz with a good guip? where’s all the clever toons? Shucks, can’t even get a good opus thread anymore. Not even one bunny with a pancake ...

FReepers, it's about time to clear the cobwebs from your collective brains.

FB obviously refers to Flying Barrel, that revolutionary design of 1930s Lockheed engineers for a new Air Force bomber.

The Flying Barrel was pure aeronautical genius, but the aircraft never got funded for development. Before the project could get off the ground, the Deep State squelched FB due to its flawed plan for delivering large kickbacks to Congress.

Thus, today, the most common usage of FB is in hurling an insult such as, "I couldn't give a Flying Barrel what you think", meaning a stupid idea that will never fly in the real world.
