If I’m wearing a 3M n95 mask, I usually don’t really smell anything. When I take the mask off, things smell different. Anyone else have same experience?

Yeah. It's called smelling fresh air.

It means the mask is properly fitted to your face. We do an annual fitting on my job, they use a sweet smelling aerosol to test if you can smell it. If it’s properly sealed on your face, you can’t smell it
