In the case of gases, of which flatulence is composed, the "particles" are molecules, not droplets, many, many times smaller than a virus or cootie.

This is funny because i used the fart example of not only the worthlessness of masks but also the myth that the the virus hangs in the air for hours after an infected person exhales. I used the analogy of farting in church. the smell dissipates as all air born particles do. And if you can’t smell the fart done during the collection at the end of the service, it disproves the virus hanging in the air theory.

There is NO MASK certified as effective against bioaerosols.
