I remember when the Asians started wearing the masks, early part of the century, when SARS-1 appeared. The Hong Kong flu I think it was called. Spreading even in the heat of Hong Kong due to massive use of air conditioning, to which I can relate living here in Houston. They looked so weird wearing masks, but they were probably forced to way back then. Its our turn now, apparently.
Heres one...
The first one of these powergasming scaredemic plandemic fearfection
injection pushing tyrannical control freaks to go viral on video,
hating on her maskless non social distancing neighbors...
Happened to be named Karen.
An unfortunate occurrence for innocent Karens world wide.
(The first Guy one was named Chad.)

Only IF you convert to the new communist religion: Covidism. Its sign is “the mask”. Some folks are forced to convert at gunpoint, especially Christians and Jews. They tend to leave moslems alone since they tend to shoot back. /s
They have worn masks in Japan and other places in Asia forever and a day. It was considered disrespectful to those around you if you had a cold and didn’t wear one. I wore one on occasion in the early 90s when dating my wife there. Some historical indications that they wore kerchiefs back in the Tokogawa era for the same reason.
