The exact opposite of social distancing took place in Daytona Beach on Saturday.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office released new chopper video overnight of a massive crowd in the city, holding up traffic on a major roadway.

“Social distancing” is an oxymoron. If anything it is anti-social distancing.
Everyone have a nice time at the beach.

Guess you should stay away from A1A in Fl and many other areas during the kick off of Summer and prob 4th of July and Laborday as this stuff is SOP in those areas
It’s gotta be the smartest “virus” ever known to man. It knows exactly where 6’ is not 5’11”, not 6’1”, but 6’ on the mark.
Also, it apparently only comes out at night...that’s why businesses have to close early.
Not a problem for me, I’ve never been a fan of going to events the require armpit to armpit crowds all crammed into one place, that was even before any pandemic. Also, blocking people’s travel isn’t that big of a thrill for me.

This is a typical fake news headline. The beach is fine.
It was some thugs stopping traffic and attracting a crowd because of their behavior.
Myself and quite a few others are expecting that to happen.
Got to remember, a lot of inventory on items like auto parts, etc, have been drawn down. Then comes those like the tourism industry which has taken a huge hit.
Should have seen Williams AZ yesterday. I work in the woods near there and I swear that half of Phoenix was out in the boonies round there. In town it was a virtual ZOO. The Grand Canyon opened and the town went from a near ghost town to packed like I have never seen it.
My wife got called back to work a week this past wed. Last wed, they had their grand re-opening and she said that the average sales for each customer was over 100 bucks. This at a clothing store chain. The manager said that they easily topped the grand opening of that store years before, in sales.
If they were the church going type, they might fill a church.

I posted an article this morning about residential real estate in Chattanooga. There were tons of new listings for sale and IIRC almost all of them went immediately to contract (i.e., were sold).
