once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic - same for druggies. One may or may not use after some point, but that does not change the underlying condition. Call it what it is, like it or not.

I can’t recall any incidents, rumors, health problems or police interactions over 60 years of being one of the most productive humans on the planet. At 79 he seems to be in great shape mentally and physically. Forget all of that because you know someone who claims they did heroin with him in 90s. How could I have been so misled?
