The Medical Police State is attacking churches, businesses and recreation. Only strictly utilitarian activities are authorized. This is not good.
The leftist ideal is always disruption of the status quo so they are 100% in support of the medical police state. The dream job for the leftist in this medical police state is Fauci’s job - an unelected bureaucrat with massive power over how the country is run. The last time an unelected leftist had this much power in shaping the world was writer/academic Paul Ehrlich in the early 1970s when he convinced most of the planet’s politicians that overpopulation would lead to massive famine and suffering. He singlehandedly led to the liberalization of global abortion laws. He was dead wrong then, just as Fauci and his supporters are dead wrong now. Note that honorable mention for an unelected leftist wrecking stuff goes to ex-politician Al Gore who, of course, is just as wrong as Fauci and Ehrlich.

I think the Flubros thread needs more cowbell. If you look around FR, you can see that the outrage is building and there is more and more backlash against the Fearpers. They are becoming less and less vocal with their bologna, except a few of the die-tards. Unfortunately, I still hear stories around the country from friends and such where primarily the husband is ready to get back in the game but the wife keeps watching CNN and wants to shelter in place. “Did you hear? Another perfectly healthy person aged 32 died yesterday”. What I want to ask these people is this. If this person had died of influenza one year ago, would it have made the news and would you have called for the country to shut down? I think we know the answer to that one.
