As the US approaches the grim milestone of 100,000 coronavirus deaths, the New York Times has filled the entire front page of Sundays paper with the death notices of victims from across the country.
In a decision the paper said was intended to convey the vastness and variety of the tragedy, the front page is a simple list of names and personal details taken from obituaries around the US.
The headline is US deaths near 100,000, an incalculable loss, with a sub-heading that reads: They were not simply names on a list. They were us.

at least two have already been identified as homicide victims. But they tested positive for COVID-19! Doesn't matter if they were shot in a drug robbery or crashed their car driving drunk. They count as COVID deaths!

In a decision the paper said was intended to convey the vastness and variety of the tragedyThe real tragedy here is the world's most powerful economy left in smoldering ruins, milions of jobs evaporated, countless businesses shuttered, lives ruined, futures destroyed, over a panicked and medically fraudulent response to a strain of the flu that is dangerous primarily to the elderly residents of nursing homes. That's the incalculable loss.
I pray there's a reckoning and the "leaders" responsible for this senseless action are held accountable.

They did this with Bush flag coffins. The goal is to blame everything on Trump. They are vile. I doubt they really get many people jumping onto this propaganda other than the typical loser voter but we need to be concerned if this BS gets people off their butts for that.

Well if you out a bunch of old folks in a nursing home with no means of escape, deliberately infect them with coronavirus and beat the crap out of them (like happened in Michigan), you can get as many to die as you want in order to collect federal coronavirus dollars, continue with economy crushing lockdowns and destroy the economy a with the intention of getting President Trump defeated in November. It's mass murder by Cuomo, Whitmer, Murphy, Wolf etc
To: thoughtomator
COVID deaths are likely 80% pure fraudOf this I have no doubt. Everyone who dies wheezing and coughing is counted as a COVID death. Follow the money. Collectively we are being lied to on a scale that has never been witnessed.

Trump is not Bush. He fights back.
Plus we have Cuomo and his nursing home mass murders.

The Grief Culture. Where are the mountains of flowers, piles of teddy bears and candlelight vigils? We should just put Old Glory at perpetual half staff....

Bush was great on 9/11. He was resolute in Iraq War. That said, he was a *ussy when it came to dealing with media.
(note - I know Bush was not perfect. There were flaws on how he carried out the Iraq War. But that's a topic for another day to discuss. I would much rather have Bush as our President over any Democrat or a RINO like Romney because Bush would kick a$$ and our enemies know it.)

A tragedy that was pure operator error.

Old people tend to be more conservative and killing them saves the state money. The commiecrat thug governors see that as a win-win.

I'll take Bush over any Dem by far. No question.
Too bad he allowed himself to be beaten to pulp by the media without ever fighting back. He left office with one of the lowest approval ratings ever because of that.
The media are far more vicious to President Trump than to any President in history, yet he just registered his highest approval ever in the Gallop polls.
Why? He kicks the media in the nuts every day. He returns their attacks with compound interest.
