NY ignored the Javitz Center and the Navy floating hospital in order to send the most sick back among those most vulnerable and susceptible to this killer plague. Thank you. Just a quick glance may sow some of the eeevil Rep states may have high percentages, however only a small number actually died such as South Dakota with only 25 deaths. Then you look at places like NY, PA, NJ, CT, MA and thousands have died in each of these states, like PA at 67% or ~3.3k.
Then you got NY who hides the numbers by counting NH patients who get hospital treatment as a hospital death, the only state to do so. If I average CT and NY percentages I get 59.5% NH deaths. If I do some math based on the total NY cases that is possibly over 13k dead in a nursing home in NYS.
Let’s hear it for NJ: Highest death rate for the group and the highest property tax state!

And after all the economic and other damage she has done, if my math is right, it sure looks like Ohio is about #4 in the nation in % of covid-19 deaths via nursing homes.
She destroyed every restaurant, bar, gym, hair salon, mall, etc in the state of Ohio (you know, places where nursing home residents regularly hang out all the time)
She had ONE JOB. Nursing homes were under her watch, and she FAILED IN SPECTACULAR FASHION. I went back and listened to the 5/21 presser and it was a joke. The Ohio reporters didn’t bring up any of this, despite the fact that Acton was on hand and the head of the Dept of Aging was there via video. Those reporters should hang their head in shame. Acton should have turned in her resignation upon learning those numbers, but she didn’t...b/c...gov’t service.
And she isn’t done. The massive Ohio State fair has been cancelled.
DeWine (RINO) continues to defend her, but I predict he won’t run for re-election.

It would be interesting to know the percentage of the dead who were dual-eligibles, Medicare and Medicaid, vs the number of dead who had Medicare or Medicare and Medigap.
Thanks for posting this. If the deaths are coded properly, on a percentage basis NY only has 25% deaths in nursing homes. Need to dig into how they code a death to understand how many of the hospital deaths are really nursing home patients. One way to do this is to count “excess mortality” i.e., the number of nursing home patients who died in March-May 2020 vs the same period last year. That may give us a better idea of the true magnitude. Otherwise, this just feeds into Cuomo’s narrative.
