NY ignored the Javitz Center and the Navy floating hospital in order to send the most sick back among those most vulnerable and susceptible to this killer plague. They also had the Central Park field hospital and IIRC two others based at area colleges. The Javits center got a few patients as I recall, but no wear near the number of available beads as did the Central Park one but the other two were never used.
Agreed. I saw it at the beginning. Then it went from “2 weeks to flatten the curve” to “ obey your government masters”.
