Interesting to learn some of the reasons peat moss is used in gardening. I never know why.

Good stuff. I need to use some around my house. The soil is rocky. Land and lake were once a gravel pit. You got to use a pick ax to dig a serious hole.

I’m not reading the article but the reason I use it is it can lighten up your dense soil a bit...so I try to add some every year....

They should be able to find
I’m certain wherever you are located, there will be a publication or two with suggested mixes that you can rely on since publication would be peer-reviewed, best practices
