A story on my local ABC affiliate yesterday morning cited a WHO “study” claiming just the opposite - that infection rates were “soaring” in places where the lockdowns have been eased. I’ve been following the numbers on Worldometer, and I haven’t seen any evidence of “soaring” infections in places that are easing the lockdown restrictions.
This doesn’t make any sense.
Even if it were the normal flu you’d expect a small spike in the infected from opening up.
With the quarantine it should’ve gone down (it didn’t) and now that were opening up it should go up (it’s not)
You could say it’s run it’s course but then you have Ford and Tyson closing plants because of outbreaks there in just the past few days.
It’s almost as if certain areas get seeded...

Doesn’t matter, we have to get back to work, no matter what happens. We can’t let the economy collapse anymore then it has. The virus is going to do what it will do.
