Throughout history, what method was used to control a population that had the capability to wrest control from the standing authority?
Convince the general population that the target demographic wasn’t human. Take from them their sense of humanity and convince them they are no better than animals; chattel for the ruling class to manipulate. Or, if unruly, put down.
Egyptians did it to the Israelites.
Babylonians did it to the Hebrews
Muslims do it to the kafir.
In modern times, Nazi’s did it to the Jews.
We are much more sophisticated than that, now. Right?
We remove your ‘face of humanity’ by forcing you to wear a mask.
And call them deplorables, racists, Nazis, white supremacists, homophobes, intolerant, white privileged, xenophobes, nationalists, transphobes, morbidly obese, and doo doo shoes.
Its a tale as old as time.
