I went to my a local business yesterday evening for dinner. Charlie’s Lounge serves some great food, and happens to be where I shoot pool when the league is actually playing (has been shut down for 2 months+ now).
Anyway, had a long talk with the lovely Miss Bridgette - she said that last Wednesday, she only had 5 customers. This week was better - I saw about 10-12 people there during my meal, and two were shooting pool on one of the tables the entire time.
Ironically, they were mostly older people, which indicates that young people are actually accepting the brainwashing that the media has been giving them.
It’s going to take a while for Charlie’s and many places like it to build back up. They’re allowed 50% now, poised to be 75% soon in Tennessee, but the customers have been sufficiently spooked that it may never come back. There are typically around 80 people there on Thursday night when our league is playing, and they have leagues 3 other nights a week. It’s not even close to 50% occupancy right now. Hard to pay the bills without revenue.

Not true, I do own a business. I sell baloney sandwiches to virtue signallers.
A friend of mine is a local PT. He says they have been opening up once the surgeries began again and they have called PTA’s and such back. He says they are having a difficult time in getting anyone to want to return because the government cheese money is lucrative. I say fire them all.
