An unlicensed pilot managed to walk without serious injuries, but in handcuffs, after crash landing an allegedly stolen small airplane at the Fullerton Municipal Airport on Wednesday, authorities said.
The suspect could be seen seated near the plane being questioned by police. The damage to the airplane and fence appeared minor.
Officials believed the plane had been taken previously in Chino, although it was not yet clear how long the suspect had it, according to Fullerton police Sgt. Eric Bridges.

ROTFL!
The guy handles a plane better than Harrison Ford.
So those hours playing MS Flight SimulatOR was worth it then?
LOL! Good one!
I’m sure the owner of the airplane is thrilled.

I grew up near there. When I was a kid we used to stop at the roadside shack on the edge of the farm right across the street to buy fresh corn on the cob to go with bbq dinners on Sunday nights in the summer. That farmland is long gone, replaced by business parks.
Is a good landing. My son struggled with landing the T-6. Then suddenly, it clicked. He said after that, he couldnt figure out why he struggled with it, since it became so simple for him.
My parents remembered when St. College Blvd...was a dirt road.
My parents and my two oldest brothers remember when Harbor Blvd in Fullerton was called Spadra, and Euclid was Nicholas. My family rented a house from a farmer whose land was purchased by the city to create Nicholas Jr High. Members of my family have lived in the OC since the mid 1930s.
“Then suddenly, it clicked.”
Usually it is from students finally following flight procedures and no longer trying to muscle the plane. Trust the numbers and everything falls into place.
Nicholas????
Wow....never knew that!!
Wow...1930's!!...My parents ended up there in the 40's...Dad was from TN...Mom...from KS.
I learned something today!!!
Theres been a couple of restaurants in the downtown area using the name Spadra in recent years as a tip of the hat to the old days.
