I do know that big companies are scared to death of lawsuits. If they go too forceful on testing and masks they fear getting sued by employees. Not forceful enough and they get sued by employees and customers. So I expect to see massive herd mentality like nothing we have ever seen before. I just dont know where the herd will end up. I know one or two brave companies can set the tone and move the herd.
Maybe a time for tort reform?
I am still looking for the large number of liability claims against grocery stores and big-boxers.
There is no legal status known as “essential” that dismisses public liability.
If Kroger isn’t getting sued willy-nilly and right-and-left, employers don’t have any worries.
