That one oft cited VA study was apparently arranged to produce just the results announced. HDC is best when applied early and least effective when used in the ICU. The VA only gave it to patients already in the ICU. Anywhere there is government involvement in the use of the Quinine drug it is permitted only in the hospital in the last stages of the disease. Those private doctors who give it to identified positives who are not yet in the hospital have far better results with it.
