Just got off watching Trump's press briefing at Fox Business News channel.
They discussed many things, but here's my summary in regards to Hydroxychloroquine, which was brought up by a reporter.
* In this press briefing, Trump revealed that he himself has been taking Hydroxychloroquine for over a week and a half.
* He also said that he consulted with his White House doctor who gave him the go ahead. He has been tested regularly for Covid-19.
* He said that many frontline workers in the USA have been taking Hydroxychloroquine as prophylaxis against Covid-19
* He also said that he has received many letters from Covid-19 patients testifying to how the Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + Zinc cocktail has helped them overcome their sickness.
* He mentioned a Westchester doctor who has successfully treated his patients with Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + Zinc with no hospitalizations. He did not named the doctor ( I suspect it might have been Dr. Vladimir Zelenko he was referring to, but I'm not sure ).
* He is not forcing anyone to take the cocktail, he just wants to give doctors the freedom to work with other doctors and their patients without imposing undue government regulations on them.

He mentioned that the pressure to publish, combined with a perceived need to come to spectacular conclusions to chase research grants, had thoroughly corrupted the field of medical research.
