Capt. Jennifer Casey, the Snowbirds' public affairs officer, was killed in the May 17, 2020, crash of a squadron jet in Kamloops. This photo of her was taken in the Okanagan during a July 2019 visit by the team.

It’s a dangerous profession.
It’s not for everyone.
It’s totally and utterly unforgiving.
I saw a deceased female with catastrophic injuries, Hings told KTW. It looked like she hit a tree. Its insane. Its not supposed to happen.

Give me one good reason for the existence of ANY of these flying daredevil teams? (a rhetorical question, I already know the answer)
Don’t bother, there isn’t any.
They should expand the “missing man” formation to include ALL the aircraft.
I am completely series!

Aircraft is the CT-114 'Tutor', a 1960s era trainer, now almost exclusively used only by this air show demonstration team, Snowbirds, of the Canadian Forces.

Pretty girl. She should have been somewhere making good kids and raising a family. What the hell has gotten into people that they think it’s so cool for daughters to do man things and ignore the critical and fundamental thing society needs?
A waste.

The videos show one of the planes flying vertically before a pilot is ejected, followed by an airborne explosion and the subsequent crash. Some clips show a second occupant of the plane ejecting shortly before impact.I didn't see a mid-air explosion in the video. I saw what appeared to be two folks ejecting, one before the other.

Does any other nation's military aerobatic team use aircraft as antiquated as the Tutor?
And it boggles the mind that ANY military would put their best pilots in aircraft that should have been retired decades ago WITHOUT ZERO-ZERO ejection seats.
