The new proposed addition to the Rooney Rule, which would reward teams for hiring minority candidates, raised a lot of eyebrows around the league. It was one thing for teams to be required to interview minority candidates for head-coaching and general manager positions, but quite another to offer draft picks to teams based on who they employ.
And one of the four minority head coaches in the NFL, the Chargers’ Anthony Lynn, isn’t in favor of it.

First team to hire a woman as head coach gets the number one overall pick.
They have several shots at getting this bonus:
(1) head coach,
(2) general manager for operations, and
(3) general manager for anthem protests and other disrespect toward our flag, our country, our military, and our ancestors.
I broke with the NFL about 15 years ago. Now it’s simply dead to me. I don’t watch any professional sports. Nor college. Hell, I don’t even own a television!
Each team should go ahead and name a CRO.

4 out of 32 head coaches is roughly the percentage of the US black population.
If they want it to be proportional to the players’ demographics (70% black), there would only be 10 white head coaches.

Sad but true....
Merit went out the window long ago.
Years ago, I read an article that said the future of sports was minorities being enriched by playing/coaching it, women advancing through broadcasting/administration and white men buying tickets to support the industries. I thought it was tongue-in-cheek or something idyllic by the author but perhaps it was (is) something on the forefront.
The NFL is just about dead. My Eagles got a ring so I guess that’s a bright spot.
No problem with affirmative action for the coaching staff, so long as the distribution of players in the game reflects America. No more than 14% Blacks playing for each team at any one time. OK, round up for two Black players per side at a time.
Sounds fair to me.

Diversity is a dog whistle for anti-white. Any white person who watches or supports the nfl supports its anti-white, racist policies.

The NFL is asking to be sued.
It would be simpler to give teams with a black coach five downs on offense and three on defense.
