Until recently new threads were started after old thread had 1500-1600 posts.

With so much activity recently standards must have changed, 2500-3000?

It’s hard to find the sweet spot for a new thread. Peeps have previously asked we not have new threads every other day (2 day cycle). Now that threads are accelerating, we get to 1600 in two days.
But, if I wait until day 3, some FReeQs pull the cross bars off posts to build a fort to await Festival, others renew calls for a relaxation of the porpoise porn ban, and still others start hinting about Helen Thomas competitions..........

RN, you’re doing great work. By letting the threads run longer, you’ve obviated a lot of garbage posts, such as the redundant pics and look-at-me “in before” posts. In my opinion, you’re handling it just fine.

IMHO, you should start the new thread when it’s convenient for YOU. You are the MQD, and it’s a lot of work to keep us all in line, keep up with Q posts, and ping everybody, so it should be on your schedule.

Your Thread-up to you when to post a new one. All seems good to me. I vote to continue the ban on porn-especially porpoise porn—bestiality is what the guy called it on that original picture. Warning should precede anything to do with Helen Thomas. LOL
