That is one of the weirdest things I find about the lockdown.
Flattening the curve was designed so that hospitals could take the strain of the influx of rona patients without losing people because they couldn’t be adequately treated.
But there is no strain.They’re hardly being used by rona patients around the country. Hospitals have a surplus of available beds to treat patients and they aren’t being used.
This means we _can_ open up and stay open until hospitals begin to fill with rona patients. But “experts” like Fauci and the fearbros say that _any_ uptick is bad—even if hospitals can take in patients.

Had a terrible time arguing with friends and family about wearing a mask in public. Seems that some think it’s selfish to NOT wear a mask. Well, I would say it’s selfish to try to force others to wear a mask just so that they can feel safe from a false threat.
