50% of FR agrees with this. Sad to see Conservatism die!
I hope Hobby Lobby tells them to go S-it in their HAT!
Yeah, right (rolling eyes)
I’m sure the fact that Hobby Lobby is run by Christians is irrelevant to this < /S >
This from Fresno County:
A California County Sheriff said the police department is not cracking down on residents who break social distancing rules, saying officers are too busy re-arresting those who were released under the states zero-dollar bail policy.
The story: Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims made the comments in an interview with Trevor Carey on the Trevor Carey Show.
Ive heard multiple sheriffs around the nation state they will not enforce their governors shelter-in-place orders. Is that your position? Carey asked.
That is my position. We do not stop the public to find out what theyre doing when theyre not sheltering in place. We dont ask those questions, we dont ask if theyre essential. Weve got our hands full trying to re-arrest people that are released due to zero-dollar bail. So weve got other things that are on our mind that are more important than stopping normally law-abiding citizens, Mims explained.
Civil Disobedience is your Friend.
Snitches.
Is this the worst written article today? Or this year.
What was the accusation? And who is Angela?
"Unless customers were buying masks or fabric for PPE then they'd have to leave their purchases," Angela Aguilar said referring to items that had not yet been purchased. "I was saying I'll buy a piece of fabric if I have to just let me get my items and they said, 'No that's not the point.'"
Maybe I am more dense than usual today.
What exactly is the complaint? What unfair practice are they being accused of?
Maybe my reading comprehension is in the toilet but it sounds like Hobby Lobby was complying with the stupid, unfair, draconian rules. What's to investigate?
The thing about a complicated law code, is that in one way or another, almost everybody, at one time or another, does something in violation of some part of that code.
Never mind that there parts of the code that are directly contradictory to what may be read into another part of the code, a vigorous and crafty lawyer can present a case before the court, and by overwhelming urban guerrilla tactics, snow the court and get a ruling that on more sober reflection, may prove to be fully countered by quoting another contrary position in the code. In other words, it becomes a rule of men, not law, which has been reduced to a parody of itself.
Whoever gets there first with the most bluff, wins.
Wow
You can’t go to Hobby Lobby or Joanne’s fabrics to purchase materials to make masks but, you can order approved items online from Bezos Inc...
Prayers up for this business owner! May God grant David victory over tyrannical Goliath AGAIN!
GEEZ! Did you not read the article you posted?
The Monterey County District Attorney announced on Friday that Hobby Lobby is in compliance with the shelter-in-place order.
According to the DA’s office, an investigator found the business falls into the definition of an essential business pursuant to the May 1 shelter-in-place order issued by the county.
Sue them in Federal court.
