It says a lot that even with that, there are a lot of people (myself included) who have a greater trust in Boeing than nearly any other passenger plane.

Everyone has preferences. I used to shudder when I saw my plane was going to be a DC-10.

I just had a bad feeling about those planes.

Like me with Airbust.

Still remember watching one of them orbiting around LAX with the unretractable nose gear jammed sideways. Something about a French airplane bothers me.

Boeing had a nifty safety record until their pursuit of “equality” (Negative discrimination) instead of quality (Positive discrimination) of their entire workforce.

I used to shudder when I saw my plane was going to be a DC-10.

I cannot fathom the dread when one finds out that their passenger plane is one having a shoddy safety record especially when we had a time where we seemed to have had crashes fairly often.
