Not that I am a fan of masks in this situation (for us plebes), but that defeats the whole purpose of the mask altogether; as air bypasses the sides of the mask so do pathogens - as you breathe in vacuuming them into your air passages. Perhaps not as negligent as licking doorknobs but about as pointless to a medical professional.

Since I have to wear the dam thing, it’s better than passing out, which I felt like I was going to do before I was able to get air in.

I don’t want to wear it at all, I’d rather take my chances, but I can’t get groceries otherwise.

But for those of us who don’t buy the hype about the Rona sounds like a good plan to me.
