Blue state Blues.

This took some work. But I was curious myself. We should all try to do our own research, and not trust what we are fed by FB or the media… if anyone wants my data, let me know. Happy to share

 

I obtained covid stats and governors from the below websites. I put this data into an Excel spreadsheet and summed up the numbers. Anyone can do this exercise and check the numbers…

 

If you live in a Democrat run state, things are significantly worse.

 

* Total number of covid cases are 2.4 times higher.

* Total number of cases per 100,000 residents is 1.8 times higher.

* Total number of deaths is 3.6 times higher.

* And Total number of deaths per 100,000 residents is 2.6 times higher.

I suspect data is worse for Dem states because they are more likely to toe the party line and over report all deaths as covid, refuse HCQ treatments, force Covid patients into elder care convalescent facilities etc.

Good work! I think FLA was well handled and a really a miracle the RATs couldn’t exploit things there ... considering all the senior facilities and such, I think the deep state hoped they could use COVID-19 to win the election there by casting aspersions. ThankQ + WWG1WGA :)

The data looks solid, and a nice presentation. But causation is still unproven. I could probably show a similar correlation with population density, reliance on mass transit, or the number of elevators for example.

Now it may be that Blue state Governors have put restrictions in place sooner and kept them longer, but you’d need data to prove that. I remember Mike DeWine in Ohio (R) was one of the first, for example.

I agree we should do our own research and applaud your efforts, but what you show is correlation, not causation.
