Yes, the early days, had their shortcomings, many of us were very lucky. There must have been a long space in time where they had about it right.

The government redefined their definition of Polio-that alone helped make it seem like the vaccine was more successful than it was. Within 21 days of suspension due to Cutter incident, they granted other labs contracts, and the mass inoculation was on again—but at least it was voluntary, and parents had to give their consent.

I carefully research treatments and vaccines that my Dr. might advise me to take. My Docs also know that I prefer generic, because there is years of data to look at-not just because it’s cheaper.
Trust but verify-applies to more than nuke treaties and I try to make sure my kids and grand kids are more informed than I was when my kids were younger.
