That's ridiculous.

People change their pleas every day in court and don't get charged with perjury.

Sullivan has telegraphed that that is his play. He’s got Flynn’s signature right under the line that says “under penalty of perjury” and he’s specifically wrote in his direction to Gleason that he wants that covered in the “amicus brief”.

I’m sure people do change pleas, but this isn’t any other case -there are heavy politics completely infecting this, and he has Flynn’s signature to hold against him if he wants to do his Left wing buddies a solid. Sullivan is certainly projecting that this is what he’s going to do. We will know if Powell files a writ of mandamus tomorrow, that she thinks that’s his play too.
