“Runner worried about guy with the gun does not continue running towards guy with gun.”
Guy with gun moved to where the runner was going.
From left side of road to right side.
Runner runs away from him.
He pursued and intercepted.
It’s all on video. Key times 15 seconds and 20 seconds.
Well, the two white guys (the McMichaels) are there to aid in their defense. They have already given statements, it appears.
The prosecution is going off a theory from the video. The video does not show the McMichaels every pointing a gun at Arbery, until, it appears, Arbery attacked.
There are good reasons three prosecutors refused to prosecute.
Blocking a road, arms prominently displayed & at the ready, is a threat.
Put yourself in his position and tell me you wouldnt consider it a threat.
Ive been there, and did.
From what I can see from rewatching the video, it looks like the guy holding the gun advanced about three feet to barely cross the yellow line at approximately the time we hear the gun fire.
Next time the shotgun holder is visible he has moved right and is now on the right side if the double yellow line.
Okay, but it looks by that time the "jogger" was already running at him.
But i'll give you a point for that detail.
It is too easy for such situations to turn into a thorny, if not outright dangerous mess.
It's a shame that this is how things are, but a person has to be a fool not to recognize that some of these inter-reactions can be potential time bombs.
At some point, I expect to find that Arbery had parked a car near the house that was under construction. Also, I expect the information on his phone will be revealed. His last movements, prior to his “home inspection “, will surprise some people.
Guy holding gun moved forward, but he did not cross all the way to the other side of the truck to intercept Jogging man.
Jogging man closed that distance.
But you are correct that Gun guy stepped over the yellow line.
I wouldn't keep running toward it. I most certainly would not try to take the shotgun away from the guy.
Perhaps he didn't see it as a threat? He certainly behaved as if he didn't understand the threat represented by a man with a shotgun.
Nope. Not my bias or my viewpoint at all. I’m merely expressing the narratives as the narratives are typically expressed, depending upon the race of the expressor.
Maybe I should have included quotation marks, ergo, “summary execution by a pair of vigilantes.”
Oh, I think you’re being a little disingenuous there. Have any of those 3 white victims been talked about ad nauseum by the media since they were murdered? Have there parents and loved ones been interviewed countless times by the media? Has any “white leader” come forward to represent the victims families and pushed for either civil rights or hate crimes charges?
are you guessing that or do you have some inside info!!?? ....?????
Before this is over these two guys are going to wish they never heard of the man.
Yes. Thank you, that greatly clarifies what you were saying.
I have to admit when I first heard this story, I thought it really was a couple of redneck racist killing a black man in a southern state because they thought they could get away with it. Such things are much rarer nowadays, but there are still incidents, such as that dragging death in Texas a decade or so ago.
But then I started seeing more details, and the story turned into something else in my mind.
I have been wondering abut that. What a blow to the "Jogger" narrative. Guy is 10 or so miles from home, but drives a car to get to the area where he was "jogging"?
So yeah, i've been waiting to see if a vehicle or an accomplice turns up in this story.
The Arbery case wasn't about race until the authorities failed to do their job in the first place and people began to ask why that was.
So it is your belief that the former apprentice gunman, Mr. Arbery, was actually a jogger on the day of the incident? You believe the claim that he was in that community as part of a jogging exercise?
They’ve all but been convicted now. No Justice, No Peace!
I think you mean 20 years ago
Maybe he was looking for work? /s
No inside info, just something that always seems to show up.
