I expect a wave of action from churches who have had about enough of this. A combination of civil disobedience and 1A lawsuits.

I see Protestant churches protesting. Unfortunately, I see Catholic Churches as being very slow to come around.

There are simple problems with some things.
1. ALL churches are part of “the game”. To operate, they have been required to get operational permission from the State /from the start of their modest beginnings/. Somewhere, there is a tax exemption allowing them to operate as a church. Therefore, the State CAN control their meeting agenda and their “safety practices” for the public.
In sum, they are screwed and MUST follow the State’s orders going forward. The local “churches” gave up their 1A rights (free exercise) when they signed the exemption.

2. That does NOT mean, however, that the INDIVIDUALS who attend church can be enjoined from gathering and freely exercising their religious beliefs in any manner they deem appropriate in any place of public accommodation/gathering.

The State cannot block the doors of the church from the members of the congregation without violating 1A. The only restriction is that the administration of the local church cannot announce or advertise any upcoming services.

Flash mob texts among the members is the plan.

Fearpers are not looking at the data, math and science.

They are standing on their moral high ground, no matter how conceited it is, to quench their thirst for relevancy and self validation.

The data was known two weeks in and at a month any 5th grader could do the math and see the response strategy was no longer necessary

It is now time to treat this like we do other virus’ and colds: “Say it, don’t spray it, wash your hands and stay home if you are sick.”

The elderly are susceptible to any number of things and maybe this virus is more virulent than others. I can’t say yet.

However, I am left with the question of why is the flu season so off this year?

For the same reason we don’t know exactly how many have CCP-19 or who they are: We don’t test everybody for everything.

You can’t.

A doctor sees symptoms present themselves and makes his diagnosis.

If he didn’t know there was a CCP-19 to test for and have the ability to test and a reason, he couldn’t say anything other than “They got the flu”

Now that we have the ability to test for a specific virus, CCP-19, are the number of flu infections, symptoms and deaths now being attributed to CCP-19?

I think so.

Our Baptist church in TN opened two weeks ago with a few modifications, but basically back to normal.

I heard 2 pastors yesterday express it exactly like that: Had just about enough of this. Really warmed my heart! I know I’m sick of it.
