Yea, lets slip more socialist drama in under the cover or the rona. Let businesses decide their own policies. No government mandates.

Its a fine line between legit sick leave and abuse of the system. I come from a career where abuse of sick leave was the culture and nothing could be done to stop it, no matter how obvious it was. Paid sick leave plus unions equals an Atlas Shrugged moment.

And it would be another reason businesses would rather go overseas. Lets not start the cycle all over again now that Trump is bringing our jobs home.

It's interesting to me that when the Progressives reach into their basket of endless goodies, they never pull out that little treat. They've got hopes for health insurance, family leave, daycare, etc. But not a sensible policy on simple sick leave. That would be effective and helpful, so I guess Progressives have no interest.
