If Arbery got off on the shoplifting charge then a former police officer involved in his case should never be considered an objective party when it comes to a subsequent allegation of a similar crime. That's ridiculous. Then any cop that saw a prior arrest committing a crime would have to simply watch.

Did McMichael actually witness this guy committing a crime? That’s not something I’ve seen clearly established in these reports I’ve read.
