I’m sorry to hear you are suffering. I’m praying for you that the Lord surrounds you with His presence, comforts and enfolds you in His loving arms so that no matter what happens you know He loves you and you have FRiends who genuinely care about you.
Farmer Dean may you find peace joy and healing in the arms of the Savior who gave all for you. He loves you more than any of us can comprehend and is waiting to give you the Kingdom!
Prayers sent up for you!
I know some farmers—very tough life! You have to be smart and patient...
I found a guy here in this small town...in NE OK....that is a gunsmith.
Got quite a few of my guns...cleaned professionally and they look great.
Have a .410 Shotgun...that he offered to buy.
Have a Iver Johnson .22 carbine...that I think he wanted too.
Get well...bud!!
Prayers for the Lord to intervene...
Prayers offered.
Prayers up.
A friend gave me a couple ears of Goliath corn last year. I was going to try to grow it in a big tree pot I have, until I saw how big they can grow. 20 feet, unbelievable. He still amazes me from time to time. He’s been growing for a long time now an ancient type of maize that supposedly the seeds came from a cave in the southwest. He grows some ancient type of tobacco too. And I thought I had a green thumb, I really have to work at it. My Century plant has produced a lot of babies though, gifts that became table center pieces and became such beautiful little plants.
I can wield a 1911 probably better then most men, but you should have seen the grin on my old Dad’s face when I would shoot his Charter Arms .44 special Bulldog. The thing was like holding a rattlesnake, the recoil was incredible. All the shots were in the bullseye though. Annie Oakley up, brother. Marine ready.
I hope you have some pretty nurses. You know how to make a blonde smile on a Saturday? Tell her a joke on a Wednesday. When your nurses leave the room tell them “I’m glad you got to see me” They will appreciate the humor and maybe put a smile on your face too.
Sending prayers your way.
Son swung by this weekend to hang out. We didnt have time to test it, but showed off his new S&W M&P 9mm Shield EZ. I suspect he picked it up hoping Mom finds it fitting with the thought of her eventually getting one too. Ive never owned a 9mm but son likes them. Well get together in a couple weeks and put holes in paper. Son will out shoot me, but Ill rationalize that I need new glasses.
You are in my prayers.
My husband emailed me an FR link about sepsis:

Prayers up for a quick recovery.
Wishing you the best, old FRiend. Take a well-deserved rest, and know your pals here have got your back.
Farmer Dean. Don’t give up. The human body is amazing and given enough time can beat this thing. Thank you for your interest in firearms. As I am a product development engineer at Ruger for MKII and revolvers, I thank you for valuing our 2nd Amendment. I am lifting you up in prayer right now!!
Farmer Dean, here is another possible option to look into with your doctor:
