VANITY ... My printer prints blank pages before the actual print

I bought a new ecotank 2027 and I love it, but when I want to print out from my pictures (f'rinstance), or anything direct from the computer (desktop), there's a que of over 50 pages that come out blank before actually printing.

That looks like a European setting. No way American buildings will have that layout.

Only a guess, check to see if it has a couple of print jobs alreary spooled and clear that. Could be left over jobs from a previous printer, uninstall any left over drivers. Might need to boot into Safe Mode to get yhem all, sometimes windows does not show duplicates except in safe mode.

We have a winner. Now, pay taxes on that.

I support a lot of printed paper addicts.

Ditto that.
My mom's 87 and thinks that if she doesn't have a hard copy, it doesn't exist .. or something   :-\

Do you have Windows 10?
If so go to the Control Panel and Device & Printers.
Microsoft hid Control Panel in later versions of 10
Next to the Start button type Control Panel and you can right click on the result and add to the Start menu. Left click on the the result to open.

In Device & Printers you locate your printer and right click on it and make it the default printer. Microsoft wants to control the printer and will warn you. You want Epson to be in charge. You should right click on the printer and go to Printer Properties and then Advanced and see if Microsoft used their generic driver instead of the actual one for your printer.

They do this all the time in Windows 10.
If so then click on the browse button and point it to install the correct driver. Point to your cd drive or reinstall the software from the Epson website.

Ink cartridges are not installed in a printer sitting in a warehouse. The cartridges are usually in hermetically sealed packs and you don’t open the packs until you install them in the printer so the likelihood of the jets being clogged with dry ink is nil, zero, zip, zilch.

Been there done that.

I built and repaired computers for a living for about 15 years...

The first rule of printers is do NOT buy inkjet.

The second rule of printers is do NOT buy inkjet.

The third rule...

Printer expert and IT professional on-hand if you still have a problem.

But PM me (this thread is pathetic and I’m not playing here).
